Announcing The 1st Exclusively UFO Crash Retrieval Conference
BROOMFIELD, CO – August 26, 2003 – The father and son team of Ryan and Dr.
Robert Wood and www.majesticdocuments.com will sponsor the 1st UFO conference
dedicated exclusively to UFO crash retrievals and the government’s secret
organization Majestic 12.
Our speaker line-up is exceptional and we are proud to be associated with a
strong team of speakers, said Ryan Wood. Presenting will be Linda Moulton Howe,
Nicholas Redfern, Dr. Robert M. Wood, Grant Cameron, Stanton T. Friedman, Art
Campbell, Jonathon Downes, Ryan S. Wood, Stan Gordon, Richard Miller, Kenn
Thomas, Matthew Williams, and Greg Bishop. Below are the current abstracts for
the presentations.
Robert Wood — Authenticating The SOM1-01 Manual
Retired aerospace engineer and document researcher Dr. Robert Wood reviews the
results of extensive research and forensic studies used to authenticate the
SOM-101 Manual. Included will be discussions of interviews with retired
Government printing experts, style manual comparisons and witness interviews.
Ryan S. Wood - The First Roswell: 1941 Crash Retrieval In Cape Girardeau
Missouri
Reviews the evidence for an extraterrestrial spacecraft crash-retrieval in Cape
Girardeau, Missouri in the spring of 1941, including document evidence and the
testimony of Reverend Huffman, as related by his granddaughter Charlette Mann.
New sites and evidence will be presented.
Nick Redfern — Cosmic Crashes: UFO Crashes in Britain
Nick Redfern will be lecturing on accounts of reported UFO crashes in England
dating from the Second World War to the present day and will present documents,
photographs and additional materials relating to the cases in question. He will
also address claims that alien bodies have been recovered and autopsied by the
British military.
Nick Redfern & Ryan Wood – Evidence From the Archives
Nick and Ryan will
provide a dozen suggestive and powerful irrefutable document examples from the
national archives and presidential libraries that show intense interest by our
government with UFOs, crash retrievals the technology that these visitors offer.
There links to the Majestic program will be examined, some supportive others
inconclusive.
Jonathan Downes — Puerto Rico UFO Crashes
Jonathan Downes will be speaking about a 2-month expedition he made to Puerto
Rico with a British TV crew in search of both UFOs and the Vampire-like
Chupacabra that is rumored to haunt the forests of Puerto Rico. Downes will be
discussing information he uncovered and cases he investigated relating to
reports of UFO crash incidents in the Puerto Rican jungle and accounts of
Chupacabra bodies recovered under cover of the utmost secrecy by the U.S.
military.
Stanton Friedman — New Attacks on Roswell and MJ-12
It has been 25 years since I began the civilian investigation of the Roswell
Incident involving the recovery by the U.S. government of the wreckage of a
crashed flying saucer and its alien occupants near Roswell, New Mexico, (and
another one in the Plains of San Augustin at the same time) in early July, 1947.
For 19 years I have been working on the MJ-12 documents. Because of all the
media attention, documentaries, books, papers, TV programs, videos, motion
pictures, etc., Roswell has become a household name symbolizing flying saucers.
For some, the MJ-12 documents are the epitome of fraud. Along with the trickle
of investigation by serious researchers, there has been a flood of criticism of
every aspect of the Roswell and MJ-12 stories. Unfortunately, the critics almost
always follow the 4 basic rules of debunkers: A. What the public doesn't know, I
am not going to tell them. B. Don't bother me with the facts, my mind is made
up. C. If you can't attack the data, attack the people. D. Do your research by
proclamation, investigation is too much trouble. There have been recent
anti-Roswell stories featured in Popular Mechanics and Skeptic. An entire book
"Case MJ-12" has been published attacking Majestic 12. None of these or any
other attacks stand up to careful investigation. Two crashed saucers really were
recovered in Southeastern New Mexico. Some of the Majestic 12 documents are
indeed genuine.
Stan Gordon — UFO Crash in Kecksberg, PA, 1965
Stan Gordon will discuss a December 1965 event that occurred about 40 miles from
Pittsburgh in a rural area of western Pennsylvania in which many people saw a
brilliant object moving across the sky followed by reports of a object crashing
in the woods. The area around the alleged impact site was cordoned off and a
search for the object was conducted. Neither civilians nor reporters were able
to get near the spot where the object had reportedly fallen. Late that night,
others say they observed a military flatbed tractor-trailer truck, carrying a
large tarpaulin covered object, leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
Ryan S. Wood — Murder and MJ12
UFO document researcher Ryan Wood describes document and related evidence for
the alleged murder of Secretary of Defense James Forrestal, President Kennedy,
and others in the name of UFO secrecy. Scores of murders are of suspicious
origin some are well researched and validated others are more speculative.
Linda M. Howe — Why Does the Layered Bismuth/Magnesium Metal, Allegedly
Retrieved from the Bottom of A Non-Terrestrial Wedge-Shaped Aircraft in 1947,
Release Bubbles and Measurable Energy in Water?
The laboratory research of this phenomenon will be presented with videotape and
slides.
Richard Miller — Roswell-like Debris at the University of Chicago
Richard Miller will be speaking about a remarkable experience he had at the
University of Chicago in the late 1960s when he was asked by U.S. Army
Intelligence to examine a strange piece of metallic debris that had reportedly
been found in Florida. The debris had very strange properties, was very light in
weight and would resume its original shape after being bent or twisted. This is
extremely similar to the description of the metal-like debris recovered at
Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Miller will be relating the full account of how he
was exposed to this material and his conclusions on its make-up and origin.
Kenn Thomas — Maury Island UFO
Kenn Thomas, author of "Maury Island UFO: The Crisman Conspiracy," will discuss
the evidence for a UFO event in 1947 near Tacoma Washington. The first UFO crash
retrieval case also happens to be the first flying saucer incident of the modern
era, preceding Kenneth Arnold's famous Mount Rainier sightings by three days.
Often dismissed as a hoax, the Maury Island case involves the recovery of
material from a craft that wobbled and spewed debris on a salvage boat in Puget
Sound, near Tacoma, Washington on June 21, 1947. The debris killed a pet dog and
wounded the arm of the son of Harold Dahl, the primary witness to the event.
After recovering some of the flying saucer "slag," Dahl had classic Men In Black
experiences -- including a missing time disappearance of his son -- and
thereafter declared the incident to be a hoax. His partner on the salvage boat,
Fred Crisman, who had his own sighting the following day, went on to a notorious
career in ufology and in 1968 was subpoenaed by Jim Garrison as part of
Garrison's investigation of the JFK assassination. Crisman later became a
notorious celebrity, both on the UFO lecture circuit and as a talk radio
personality and politician in Tacoma.
Matthew Williams — The "British Area 51" & Computer Hacker Matthew Bevan
Matthew Williams will be lecturing on his research into the secret world of a
British Royal Air Force base - RAF Rudloe Manor, that has become known as the
"British Area 51" and the "British Hangar 18." Williams' investigations will
detail the huge underground installation that exists below the base and address
the claims that alien bodies and recovered UFOs are held deep under the English
countryside and within the Rudloe caverns. Williams will also be speaking about
the activities of Matthew Bevan, a computer hacker that attempted to uncover the
UFO secrets of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base - the location to which wreckage
from the famous Roswell incident was reportedly taken.
Greg Bishop — The Paul Bennewitz Story
Greg Bishop will be speaking on his research into the story of Paul Bennewitz,
who thought he had stumbled onto evidence of an alien invasion, but in the
process was directing attention to secret projects at Kirtland Air Force Base,
in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the early 1980s. The Bennewitz episode provided
the blueprint for wild UFO conspiracy tales into the next decade, and a warning
to researchers not to confuse the authority of the messenger with the truth of
the message. Wild alien stories cooked up by the Air Force Office of Special
Investigations that were fed to Bennewitz, and which began as a simple
counterintelligence operation, backfired and led to renewed calls for disclosure
of government UFO secrecy. The strangest part of the story is that Bennewitz
actually had stumbled onto anomalous lights and signals that were confusing and
worrying the Air Force, Defense Intelligence Agency, and the National Security
Administration. Bennewitz also claimed that he had pictures of an atomic-powered
aircraft crash site near Dulce, New Mexico. The story will be told through
Bennewitz’ personal notes and correspondence, as well as some of the verified
disinformation that was fed to him over a period of five years, leading to his
eventual breakdown and institutionalization.
Grant Cameron — Presidents and UFOs
Grant Cameron's presentation is based on records found in the various
presidential libraries. Statements made by presidents or members of their
immediate cabinet will be also be discussed. The presentation will look at what
these records and statements show in relation to UFOs and crashed saucer
reports. The lecture will touch on still unresolved questions such as how much
does the President know about UFOs or saucer crashes? Is he in charge? Are all
presidents treated equally? Are presidents in the loop on UFO crashes or is
there a secret MJ-12 type group answerable to no one?
Art Campbell — Crash Retrieval on the Plains of St. Augustin, NM
Art Campbell has spent a number of years researching the life of Grady Landon
"Barney" Barnett (who claimed to have seen a crashed UFO and alien bodies in the
desert on the Plains of San Augustin, NM, in the summer of 1947), documenting
Barnett's professional career and investigating his Plains crash discovery.
Art's investigations and documentation have uncovered new and surprising
information about the case and archaeologists working on the Plains of San
Augustin in early July of 1947 that will be revealed in an illustrated lecture.
