Stanton Friedman New Attacks on Roswell and MJ-12
It has been 25 years since I began the civilian investigation
of the Roswell Incident involving the recovery by the U.S. government
of the wreckage of a crashed flying saucer and its alien occupants
near Roswell, New Mexico, (and another one in the Plains of
San Augustin at the same time) in early July, 1947. For 19 years
I have been working on the MJ-12 documents. Because of all the
media attention, documentaries, books, papers, TV programs,
videos, motion pictures, etc., Roswell has become a household
name symbolizing flying saucers. For some, the MJ-12 documents
are the epitome of fraud. Along with the trickle of investigation
by serious researchers, there has been a flood of criticism
of every aspect of the Roswell and MJ-12 stories. Unfortunately,
the critics almost always follow the 4 basic rules of debunkers:
A. What the public doesn't know, I am not going to tell them.
B. Don't bother me with the facts, my mind is made up. C. If
you can't attack the data, attack the people. D. Do your research
by proclamation, investigation is too much trouble. There have
been recent anti-Roswell stories featured in Popular Mechanics
and Skeptic. An entire book "Case MJ-12" has been
published attacking Majestic 12. None of these or any other
attacks stand up to careful investigation. Two crashed saucers
really were recovered in Southeastern New Mexico. Some of the
Majestic 12 documents are indeed genuine. |

Stan Gordon UFO Crash in Kecksberg, PA, 1965
Stan Gordon will discuss a December 1965 event that occurred
about 40 miles from Pittsburgh in a rural area of western Pennsylvania
in which many people saw a brilliant object moving across the
sky followed by reports of a object crashing in the woods. The
area around the alleged impact site was cordoned off and a search
for the object was conducted. Neither civilians nor reporters
were able to get near the spot where the object had reportedly
fallen. Late that night, others say they observed a military
flatbed tractor-trailer truck, carrying a large tarpaulin covered
object, leaving the area at a high rate of speed. |

Budd Hopkins 1963 Crash Retrieval North of Albuquerque, New Mexico
The presentation will show two videotaped first hand interviews
of hospital and ambulance workers that responded to a call from
state police. Upon arrival, there were three small alien bodies
and an extraterrestrial craft. The bodies were X-rayed and examined,
but soon after the Air Force confiscated the evidence and told
witnesses that "this never happened" and not to tell anyone.

Peter Robbins The Strange Death of James Forrestal
If we are to believe the official account, early on the morning
of May 22, 1949, a despondent James Vincent Forrestal, former
Secretary of the Navy, chief architect of our modern Department
of Defense and recently retired as first Secretary of Defense,
threw himself to his death from the 16th floor of the Bethesda
Naval Hospital where he was being held under a round the clock
Marine guard while being treated for depression. The Navy's
five-month investigation concluded that Forrestal had taken
his own life. The investigation report was then classified and
remains so to this day. Peter Robbins will take us through a
diverse body of evidence that counters the Navy's contention
and makes the case for officially sanctioned murder with a most
compelling motive. |

Kenn Thomas Maury Island UFO
Kenn Thomas, author of "Maury Island UFO: The Crisman Conspiracy,"
will discuss the evidence for a UFO event in 1947 near Tacoma
Washington. The first UFO crash retrieval case also happens
to be the first flying saucer incident of the modern era, preceding
Kenneth Arnold's famous Mount Rainier sightings by three days.
Often dismissed as a hoax, the Maury Island case involves the
recovery of material from a craft that wobbled and spewed debris
on a salvage boat in Puget Sound, near Tacoma, Washington on
June 21, 1947. The debris killed a pet dog and wounded the arm
of the son of Harold Dahl, the primary witness to the event.
After recovering some of the flying saucer "slag," Dahl had
classic Men In Black experiences -- including a missing time
disappearance of his son -- and thereafter declared the incident
to be a hoax. His partner on the salvage boat, Fred Crisman,
who had his own sighting the following day, went on to a notorious
career in ufology and in 1968 was subpoenaed by Jim Garrison
as part of Garrison's investigation of the JFK assassination.
Crisman later became a notorious celebrity, both on the UFO
lecture circuit and as a talk radio personality and politician
in Tacoma. |

Matthew Williams The "British Area 51" & Computer Hacker Matthew Bevan
Matthew Williams will be lecturing on his research into the
secret world of a British Royal Air Force base - RAF Rudloe
Manor, that has become known as the "British Area 51" and the
"British Hangar 18." Williams' investigations will detail the
huge underground installation that exists below the base and
address the claims that alien bodies and recovered UFOs are
held deep under the English countryside and within the Rudloe
caverns. Williams will also be speaking about the activities
of Matthew Bevan, a computer hacker that attempted to uncover
the UFO secrets of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base - the location
to which wreckage from the famous Roswell incident was reportedly
taken. |

in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in the spring of 1941, including
document evidence and the testimony of Reverend Huffman, as
related by his granddaughter Charlette Mann. |

Greg Bishop The Paul Bennewitz Story
Greg Bishop will be speaking on his research into the story
of Paul Bennewitz, who thought he had stumbled onto evidence
of an alien invasion, but in the process was directing attention
to secret projects at Kirtland Air Force Base, in Albuquerque,
New Mexico in the early 1980s. The Bennewitz episode provided
the blueprint for wild UFO conspiracy tales into the next decade,
and a warning to researchers not to confuse the authority of
the messenger with the truth of the message. Wild alien stories
cooked up by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations
that were fed to Bennewitz, and which began as a simple counterintelligence
operation, backfired and led to renewed calls for disclosure
of government UFO secrecy. The strangest part of the story is
that Bennewitz actually had stumbled onto anomalous lights and
signals that were confusing and worrying the Air Force, Defense
Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Administration.
Bennewitz also claimed that he had pictures of an atomic-powered
aircraft crash site near Dulce, New Mexico. The story will be
told through Bennewitz personal notes and correspondence, as
well as some of the verified disinformation that was fed to
him over a period of five years, leading to his eventual breakdown
and institutionalization. |

Grant Cameron Presidents and UFOs
Grant Cameron's presentation is based on records found in the
various presidential libraries. Statements made by presidents
or members of their immediate cabinet will be also be discussed.
The presentation will look at what these records and statements
show in relation to UFOs and crashed saucer reports. The lecture
will touch on still unresolved questions such as how much does
the President know about UFOs or saucer crashes? Is he in charge?
Are all presidents treated equally? Are presidents in the loop
on UFO crashes or is there a secret MJ-12 type group answerable
to no one? |
